Our Story
At Safe Haven Care, we believe that every child deserves a safe, nurturing and supportive home where they can heal, grow and thrive.
Founded on the principles of compassion, stability and positive relationships, Safe Haven Care provides high-quality residential care for children and young people who have experienced adversity, trauma, disrupted attachments, or complex life experiences.
Our homes are designed to offer more than accommodation – they provide a sense of belonging, security and opportunity.
Through our homes, The Mount, Ty Gwair and Pentwyn House, we create environments where young people are valued, listened to and supported to achieve their full potential.
We recognise that every child is unique, and we tailor our support to meet their individual needs, strengths, interests and aspirations.
Our experienced teams work closely with children, families, local authorities, education providers and health professionals to ensure that every young person receives consistent, holistic support that promotes positive outcomes and long-term success

Measuring Success
At Safe Haven Care, success is not measured solely by major milestones. We recognise that for many of the children and young people who we support, progress often comes through small but significant achievements that build over time.
A young person attending school more consistently, managing their emotions more effectively, developing a positive relationship with a trusted adult, learning a new life skill, or making a positive choice in a difficult situation are all achievements worth celebrating.
We understand that every child’s journey is unique. Our role is to provide the support, encouragement and opportunities that enable each young person to progress at their own pace and achieve outcomes that are meaningful to them.
At Safe Haven Care ,we celebrate every achievement because we know that lasting change is built one step at a time.
Through consistency, positive relationships and high-quality care, those small steps can become life-changing progress.
